The alarm is activated by a four-digit PIN code entered on the keypad on the front. The system has three operating modes. The alarm mode has two settings. 1. Normally, the alarm is set to "off", which means that the entry and exit delay is activated. 2. It is also possible to activate the alarm in the "home" mode, which means that a 15 second exit delay and 0 second entry delay are activated. 3. In the “beep” mode, the beep is heard immediately when the alarm is triggered. Also, by activating the emergency mode, a loud alarm is immediately heard to call attention. "Emergency mode" can be activated when the alarm is set to beep, away, at home or even disconnected. The alarm is powered by 3 alkaline LR03 batteries (AAA) and has an additional AC/DC adapter for 4.5 VDC - 2.5 mm mono jack connector to ensure you are never without power.
